There's a Fraction Too Much Friction!

We are learning that science explains SO much about the world we live in! 

Today we began exploring friction... Many of us had no idea what the word friction even was, but after experimenting to see what surface the toy car would travel furtherest on, we began to realise that we knew a little more about it than we realised!

Making Sound Waves Visible!

Sound is all around us, but how is sound made? How does sound travel? What changes the pitch of sound? We were exploring questions like this during science this week. It is safe to say that making sound waves visible by making Oobleck dance was a highlight!

Digi Awards 2015

Digi Awards are all in and I know you have all been super exciting to see the entries being displayed in the hall this week.  I am pretty impressed by them all and very proud to see lots of K7's being awarded a highly commended or even better as a finalists!
