Fog is a humongous cloud resting over the Waikato

It is white froth covering the farm land

It is whipped cream spread across the road

Fog is a stretched out cotton ball floating above the river

Dashing hastily to stop the criminal

Springing over the huge amounts of cars that are in his way

Gliding through the tree tops of the forest

Swooping down to the rescue of people in burning houses

Firth Tower Recount

As I climbed the strong concrete stairs, my heat thumped wildly, my nerves were full of excitement. Dad was leading the way with the juniors right behind him. The tower was full of history. From corner to corner it had information about the old days. While I was walking up to the next floor I heard creaks and squeaks. Up the next floor was even better than the first floor. I nearly fainted on the third floor, it was so high! There was interesting information on the history of the tower. I learnt lots on our school trip to the Firth Tower

Ohope Beach Camp 2014!

The Year 5 and 6's had a remarkable time at camp last week. We were wishing we could relocate our classroom to Ohope; obviously we can't so instead here is a sneak peak of what we got up to.

Can you guess what we have here?

 After walking through the Ohope Scenic Reserve on our Kiwi Tracker walk, we came out on top of the hill above camp. This was the beautiful view we saw! We are all looking towards Ohiwa Harbour where we went kayaking.
